Honda Fit: Transmission Side - Release Bearing Inspection

Second generation (2007-2026) / Honda Fit 2007-2026 Repair Manual / Powertrain / Transmission/Transaxle / Manual / Clutch Replacement (M/T) / Transmission Side - Release Bearing Inspection

  1. Check the play of the release bearing by spinning it by hand. If there is excessive play or noise, replace the release bearing.

    NOTE: The release bearing is packed with grease. Do not wash it in solvent.
