Honda Fit: Cylinder Head Inspection for Warpage

  1. Remove the cylinder head.

  1. Inspect the camshaft.

  1. Check the cylinder head for warpage. Measure along the edges, and three ways across the center:

    • If warpage is less than 0.08 mm (0.003 in) cylinder head resurfacing is not required.

    • Maximum resurface is limited to the cylinder head height standard as shown.

    Cylinder Head Warpage

    Standard (New):

    0.08 mm (0.003 in) max.

    Cylinder Head Height

    Standard (New):

    119.9пјЌ120.1 mm (4.720пјЌ4.728 in)
