Honda Fit: Front Seat Frame Replacement

Driver's Seat

Check the operation of the driver's seat position sensor after any of these actions   :

NOTE:

  1. Remove the front seat.

  1. Remove these items:

    • Front seat outer recline cover

    • Front seat inner recline cover

    • Front seat-back cover/pad

    • Front seat cushion cover/pad

    • Front seat outer recline inner cover

    • Front seat inner recline inner cover

    • Seat belt buckle

    • Side airbag

  1. Replace the front seat frame (A) with a new one.

  2. A
  3. Reassemble the driver's seat in the reverse order of disassembly, and reinstall it in the vehicle.


Passenger's Seat

Do the front passenger's weight sensor initialization after front passenger's seat frame replacement.

NOTE:

  1. Remove the front seat.

  1. Remove these items:

    • Front seat outer recline cover

    • Front seat inner recline cover

    • Front seat-back cover/pad

    • Front seat cushion cover/pad

    • Front seat outer recline inner cover

    • Front seat inner recline inner cover

    • ODS unit

    • Seat belt buckle

    • Side airbag

  1. Replace the front seat frame (A) with a new one.

Bushing replacement

  1. If necessary, remove the bolts, and release the seat cushion springs (A) from the hooks (B), then remove the seat cushion frame (C).

  2. Fastener Locations: Bolt, 46 x 1.0 mm9.8 Nح (1.0 kgfح, 7.2 lbfئt)ABCBA
  3. Remove the seat weight sensors.

  1. If necessary, remove the bushings (A, B) from the seat cushion frame (C).

  1. Reassemble the passenger's seat in the reverse order of disassembly, and reinstall it in the vehicle.
