NOTE:
Take care not to tear or damage the seat covers.
Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Take care not to kink the cable.
The left rear seat is shown, the right rear seat is similar.
Remove the rear seat assembly.
Remove the rear seat cushion.
Remove the rear seat cushion cover/pad and the silencer.
Fold the leg, and remove the wire tie (A).
Disconnect the control cable (B) from the leg end (C) and cable bracket (D) of the seat cushion frame.
Install the cable in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
Replace the wire tie you removed with a new one.
Make sure the control cable is routed properly and connected securely.
Install the new cable end in the same position as the original cable end. Check the rear seat for proper tip-up operation. If necessary, adjust the position of the cable end and recheck.
