Honda Fit: Dashboard/Steering Hanger Beam Disassembly/Reassembly (Page-2)

  1. From the front of the dashboard (A), remove the screws.

  1. From the back of the dashboard (A), remove the screws (B, C), then separate the dashboard from the steering hanger beam (D).

  1. Remove the screws, then remove the dashboard duct (A) from the dashboard (B).

  1. If necessary, remove the screws, then remove the front defogger trim (A) from the dashboard (B).

  2. @font-face{font-family: "Honda_SymbolMarkeng";src:url(/statics/ho_prod_2/txt/Honda_SymbolMark_enu3.txt);}@font-face{font-family: "Honda_Special_Symbols";src:url(/statics/ho_prod_2/txt/Honda_Special_Symbols2.txt);} Fastener Locations: Screw, 5BA
  3. Assemble the dashboard and the steering hanger beam in the reverse order of removal. Make sure the dashboard wire harnesses are not pinched.
